Horseshoe Bend

My husband and I and Ten other photographers met Alain Briot and his wife Natalie at 4:00am at the lobby of a hotel in Page, Arizona. He led the way to Horseshoe Bend where we parked, carried our gear, climbed a steep slope that led us to this magnificent scene. We were all freezing and no one was photographing. "Start photographing and watch your steps and gear." Alain told us. "We are waiting for the sun to come up," some responded. It was so freezing no one wanted to touch the ice cold tripods. "Start shooting now." Alain ordered us and added, "This is the best time to shoot." He was right, that is why he is the artist leader of his workshop. I would recommend attending Alain Briot's photography workshops.
